Tucco Real Food (Vegan option)

Hemos decidido que nuestro primer post no puede ser de otro sitio que no sea Tucco Real Food. Este restaurante de comida italoargentina, nos cautivó incluso antes de conocernos. Cada uno había ido antes por su lado, y al descubrirlo juntos, ya se consolidó por completo nuestra debilidad por el lugar.

Situado en el carrer dels Còdols, casi tocando a las Ramblas de Barcelona, tiene el atractivo de esos pequeños lugares escondidos, a los que sólo llegas cuando alguien te lleva, y cuando te vas, ya sabes a quién quieres llevar tú.

Nos encantan sus empanadas (Sara: la mejor empanada de cebolla y queso del mundo), sus pizzas, su pasta rellena, sus postres... Su cocina a la vista te hace la boca agua, y sus trabajadores siempre están dispuestos a ayudarte.

Hacemos un pequeño inciso para recordar la última vez que fuimos, y la paciencia que tuvo la cajera cuando un chico no dejaba de preguntarle de qué país era en vez de pedirle lo que quería comer... Qué paciencia! Y consiguió que sus amigos se cansaran antes de él que él de su empeño, así que un 10!

Importante decir que algunos de los trabajadores son los mismos dueños del local, así que cualquier duda o incidencia se la podréis comunicar directamente, y estamos seguros de que ellos harán lo que esté en su mano para solucionarlas.

Así pues, en homenaje a los buenos ratos que hemos pasado allí, ¡Tucco es nuestra primera entrada!

PS: En Tucco podéis encontrar hamburguesas veganas, con opción de añadirle queso si sois vegetarianos.

Lo mejor: La empanada de cebolla y queso. Sin duda.

Lo peor: Que está cerrado los domingos

We've decided our first post ought to be about Tucco Real Food. This restaurant, with italoargentinian food captivated us both even before we met each other. We've been there by our own, and when we found it again together, our weakness for the place was strengthen.

Placed in Codols St., very close from Las Ramblas of Barcelona, it has the charm of those little hidden places that you can only find when somebody takes you in, and when you leave, you already know who you'll be taking next.

We love their "empanadas" (little pies) (Sara says: the best onion and cheese empanada ever), their pizzas, their filled pasta, their desserts... As you can see the kitchen, you won't be able to help mouth watering, and their workers are always ready to help.

We'll make a little break to remember the last time we were there. The cashier was veeeery pacient with a guy who'd like to know where country she was from (hitting on her, clearly!) instead of ordering his food. In the end, his friends got tired of him faster than the girl. So patient! We give her a 10!

Apart from this, we find it important to say that some of the workers are actually the owners of the bussiness. We are pretty sure they'll solve any question or issue that you could find, because you can just tell them.

So, as a tribute for the many good times we've spent there... Tucco is our first post!

PS: At Tucco you can find vegan burgers, to which you can add cheese if you are veggie!

The worst: They are closed on Sunday
